August 2026, Angers, France: Grace and I are the IMGA World Pairs Champions (Under 15), and I finished 4th in the world in the Individuals. Two weeks earlier our Tipperary team won the National Final at the RDS, Dublin Horse Show.
The best two weeks this sport has ever given us.
Mikey & Grace are the IMGA World Pairs Champions (U15) — 1st in the world — won at the World Championships at the Espace Équestre, Angers, France — August 2026. Riding for Ireland against pairs from across the world.

The Tipperary team won the National Mounted Games Final at the RDS, at the Gallagher Dublin Horse Show. County champions of all Ireland — won in the main arena in Dublin.

I’m so excited to be competing at the Royal Windsor Horse Show and I have a large number of family members coming to support me and my team.
I then moved up to Juniors with my pony Billy and we again won the championship. I competed at the RDS last August which was a fantastic experience.
Getting on the team was a dream come true for me. My mum also rode at Windsor a long, long, long time ago — so she’s thrilled I’m getting this opportunity too.

My name is Mikey English. It’s pronounced MY-key.
I’m Mikey English. I ride for the Irish Mounted Games team and play scrum half for Rockwell College in Tipperary.
I compete with the Pony Club UK and with MGAGB internationally. As well as games I’ve competed at the Morton Hall International Tetrathlon — swimming, running, riding and shooting, on my 14.2.
Outside the saddle I play hurling, football and golf, and I’m on the Rockwell Junior Cup squad. My family come everywhere with me.
